Food Wholesale Trade Manager (Full Time/ Richmond, BC)
Food Wholesale Trade Manager will be responsible for supervising the operation of food trade team and report directly to CEO.
Job Description:
- Supervise the operation of food trade department
- Provide advice and guidance to trade specialist and purchaser
- Manage food trade team and assign duties to coworkers, supervise the team to meet strict timelines
- Assist CEO to expand sales channels
- Communicate with important clients and maintain good relationship with the same
- Supervise the processing of orders
- Follow up with important clients, collect their feedbacks and deal with client complaints
- Report directly to CEO, plan budgets and control expenditures
- Provide staff performance valuation to CEO
- Provide trainings to current and new employees if necessary and etc.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Over five-year related experience in trading industry;
- Over three-year management experience;
- Have strong work ethics, be motivated, and be able to act as team leader
- Have strong communication and negotiation skills
- Completion of two-year post -secondary education
- Chinese language skill will be an asset.

Description
CTC Logistics (Canada) Inc. is a freight forwarding and logistics company with offices in Canada, the United States, and China. Our corporate headquarters is in Richmond, British Columbia. We offer services in logistics, as well as customs clearances and related services.
We are seeking to fill the position of Account and Administration Director at our Richmond office.
The position is full-time and permanent. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week in Richmond, British Columbia. The pay is $82,000 per annum.
The job duties of the position include:
- Plan, organize, and manage CTC Logistics (Canada) Inc.’s accounting department;
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures for our offices in North America and China;
- Prepare financial statements, summaries, and financial management reports;
- Act as a liaison between the accounting and financial departments of our offices in North America and China;
- Evaluate accounting procedures and financial reporting systems; and
- Direct and advise staff engaged in records management.
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
- 10+ years in a managerial role, including 5+ years in managing accounting a finance or accounting department;

Job Description
The International Logistics Specialist/Logistician position is designed to create-evaluate-implement effective logistics plans/schedules for the clients with the purpose of maximizing a client’s logistics ability as well as building long term relationships with clients.
Frequently communicate with clients; understand their logistics needs and logistics improvement plan. Develop and create logistics concepts and implement them into existing or new business with the purpose of cost reduction, creating alternate transportation solutions in an effort to maximize the available transportation solutions, and to provide a cost effective transportation model for the clients. Performing logistics plans with manufacturers, carriers and warehouses.
Job Requirements (Education, Skills and Experience Background)
- A BS degree (4 years) or higher degree focusing or global logistics, trading, transportation planning, or related majors.
- Professional knowledge in international trading and import-export logistic.
- At least 3 years experience in import/export logistics (at least 2 years in logistician level positions).
- Propose full detail logistics plan, and shipping/warehousing/distribution schedule to clients based on the requirements.
- Strong communication networks with import/export agents, manufacturers, vendors, and carriers.
- Familiar with international wide logistic operation procedures and policies.
- Ability to establish and develop long term relationships with clients who have different logistics requirements.
- Able to manage teamwork and handle multiple tasks independently, and comfortable with meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong MS Office and Internet research skills.
- Fluent English and bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is a big plus

Job Position: Bookkeeper - Vancouver, BC
CTC logistics is a global company that specializes in global logistics service. We have over 10 years’ experience and are still growing. We are seeking a full-time bookkeeper to join our accounting team in Vancouver.
Duties:
- Post journal entries, and maintain general ledgers.
- Handle and maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Handle tasks related to cash disbursement and bank reconciliation.
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, utility, tax and other bills.
- Prepare and submit tax remittance, file worker’s compensation forms and other government documents.
- Prepare year-end accounting reports.
Requirements:
- Completion of a university or college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field.
- Must have bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in use of Excel, Word and accounting software.

Job Objectives
CTC Logistics is currently seeking a full time Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant position to assist in the day to day operations of the accounting department as well as other company clerical functions. The individual who holds this role will be primarily responsible for entering accounting transactions and balancing all deposits into Quick Books and Freight Stream, and proactively manage receivables & payables and expedite the flow of information to key stakeholders and decision makers, in a manner that ensures the timely processing of all transactions and related activities. This person must have an extensive knowledge of Quick Book or similar accounting software and experience in high volume full cycle AP/AR and be comfortable with a set up that involves multiple accounts and companies.
Job Responsibilities
This position involves the processing of a large amount of transaction data under tight deadlines. Success in this position requires the ability to consistently and effectively perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, combined with an affinity for ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for all bookkeeping & data entry including A/P, A/R, GST remittance, bank reconciliation, month-end closing & documentation for company accounting department.
- Assisting accounting department in choosing and setting proper accounts and accounting procedures.
- Managing company bank account. Preparing daily deposit and bank run. Managing cash inflow and outflow, ensuring funds are sufficient
- Reconciling sale statement and invoices from domestic and international branches.
- Preparing tax returns and perform other CTC’s bookkeeping services
- Preparing other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
- Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
- Carrying out administrative activities associated with CTC’s administrative services such as office space, supplies and security services.
- Conducting analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processes.

Essential Qualifications and Skills but not limited to
- Accounting degree or diploma

- Proficient in Quick Book or Simply Accounting, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
